Fabric VR
The application of fully 3D virtual reality, the objective of the application is to made the immersive experience with a dedicated HMD for visitor related to the knowledge of digital preservation for ancient fabric of the Wieng Yong House which fully 3D reconstruction from every environment object in the museum in order to interact the objects include realistic physical of fabric simulation.
Interactive and VR experience 3D
The 3D Fabric VR design of the interactive and VR experience aims to engage and make participants aware of their learning about objects of ancient fabric in Museums. We used the concept of gamification for design to increase user' motivation and engagement based on the concept of game mechanics to apply during design of the application.In addition, the game scene was structured into three scenes: ground area of museum, museum structured scene and room of gallery for display fabrics.
The 3D Fabric VR gamified the visualization of the fabric by providing the machine for displaying the hologram of fabric and metadata. Additionally, to gamify the application, we added the game element of inventory system/collection to the application which defined the sense for the user to ownership of the object through collection.
